Fleetwood three seat sofa bed in Rock

Continental Europe has embraced the "click-clack" sofabed mechanism for decades, whilst us Brits have been a bit slow on the uptake. The "click-clack" movement takes about two seconds to turn this groovy retro style sofa into an excellent bed. Much easier on the pocket than a traditional sofabed, which is a happy coincidence.

What is the filling for the seat and back? Can you give an indication of firmness of the sleeping surface as well?

The seat and back cushions have a firm foam filling and are identical to each other, and have been made as such as they are also the sleeping surface.

St germain double upholstered bed in Cookie

St Germain As you saunter down Boulevard St Germain, on the left bank of the Seine in gay Paris, one is suffused with a sense of style, sophistication, and glamour. When one lies on a St Germain bed, the feeling is much the same. Well, the bit about the bed is true anyway.

Do your upholstered beds break down for transportation?

All of our upholstered beds will be delivered in 7 pieces plus legs (the headboard, 2 sideboards, the footboard, 1 support beam and 2 slat sections) and as such are very easy for delivery and can be assembled in your room!

It is worth noting that some of our headboards are very large and that they should be taken into consideration in regards to access but the St Germain should be very manageable.

can the legs be removed for access?

This chair would be for a bedroom that is reached by a very narrow stairwell.

Is it possible to remove the legs during delivery to aid access?

The Kilkenny, like most of our armchairs and sofas, has completely removable legs and they will simply screw on and off the armchair as desired!

Although we always have plans to increase our range of fabrics we don't have anything on the horizon at the moment I am afraid.

For the Saturday, we started with Sunday. A little cryptic perhaps, so let us explain. We took our hugely popular (iconic perhaps!) Sunday armchair, stretched it wider and stood it high on elegant, stylish oak legs, and fattened up the seat cushion a bit for extra umph. Net result; an amazingly groovy, eye-catching, and above all comfy creation, with whom you cannot fail to remain friends for many many joyous years.

Stain Resistance

Is the sofa (particularly in the white or ivory variations) coated with some sort of stain resistance?

None of our furniture comes with a protective spray as standard but for £60 (price varies depending on the size of the sofa) we can add our fabric protection onto your sofa.
This consists of having your sofa covered with a water based fabric protection spray which doesn't affect the smell, look or feel of your sofa, and you also get a 5 year warrantee with Guardsman who will protect your couch against stains and spills.

Descartes three seat in Cookie

The thinking man’s sofa (Oh please! – someone take that copywriter out and shoot him). In all honesty though you may notice that this sofa is a little dearer than some of our others, and for good reason. Those deep tufted and pleated buttons take very considerable time and skill (if you want it done properly – there are ways of cheating), and there are lots of them. The spring system rocks, the frame comes apart into four for ease of access, solid oak legs…blah, blah, blah. Listen, if you love this spectacularly elegant, modern design you’ll just have to reach a little deeper.

The Descartes sofa breaks down into four separate pieces (2 arms, the back and the base) as standard and as such is superb for fitting into properties with tight access.

In addition to this you needn't have to worry about taking it apart yourself as our drivers will happily dismantle your sofa, bring it in your property and put it back together for you as part of the delivery service!

Margot three seat in Cookie

Margot is most slight, sleek and beautifully proportioned. For example, her total depth is 84cm, which in the wonderful world of sofas is titchy. She is also surprisingly comfy. She is also a knock-out cool design. So what do you get? A beautifully designed, elegant sofa, that takes up refreshingly little space, and remains super-comfy. Not bad really.

If you were after a slim three seat sofa then the Margot is definitely a good choice but the Iggy three seat is the sofa with the smallest total width, coming in at a mere 192cm!

In addition to this the Anya is also a very slim sofa and well worth a look at.
