Marais super king size upholstered bed in Cookie

Marais – Ah Le Marais – Le Marais – labyrinthine and ancient quarter of Paris – romantic, full of surprises, and melting pot of culture and style. Ah the Marais bed! Quite different, and bearing basically no similarity whatsoever to its namesake, but still a damn fine piece of furniture and a bed to be very proud of.

will a vi-spring mattress fit?

our super king vi-spring mattress is 182cm wide. the mattress width for the super king version of this bed is 180cm.
Will it squeeze in?! has anyone put a vi-spring mattress in this bed before?

Thanks for your question!

The standard for a U.K. super king size is 180 cm so your mattress might just squeeze into the frame. It depends on the give of your mattress and if it will fit in either side. If it was a case that it didn't fit then the bed is returnable under our 14 days return policy.

Isla three seat in Cookie

Our Isla mixes drawing room elegance with luxurious lounging. It sits on insanely smart turned wooden legs, and would grace any environment with refined style.

Could I have castors put on the Isla?

We really love the Bluebell sofa because of the castors but the Bluebell doesn't have removable covers.

The Isla looks a very similar sofa and has removable covers(Fab!) but doesn't have castors. Is there an option to have castors put on this sofa instead so we get best of both worlds?

We can indeed pop the Bluebell legs on the front of the Isla sofa and we have a choice of a bronze or a chrome finish on the castors themselves.

Maltby complete set in Cookie

This slim-line corner sofa has a supportive back and plenty of boulster cushions to keep things comfy. We think it would fit in perfectly in amongst the markets of Maltby Street, as you nestle down to enjoy a freshly-brewed coffee. And like its namesake, it’s incredibly cool.

I have read your answer to a previous customer that the Maltby comes in units. Do they lock together in some way so they don't slide apart?

Fabric

I was wondering what the best fabric would be to sustain the daily life
of a 7 & 8 year old....Although we have a no food policy it does sometimes sneak in and my little girl has a love of crafts,so always got pens and pencils out....any advice would be gratefully received.sozzer

I would advise you to avoid velvets or any fabric with broader weaves such as our Broad Weave Linen or Dexter's Linen.

A good choice would be our Brushed Linen Cotton or Pure Belgian Linens as these are quite hardy and can be washed in lower temperatures!

Avalon two seat in Cookie

The fact that the Avalon has no cushions is good for several reasons –no plumping required, it is nice and small, and refreshingly inexpensive. But doesn’t no cushions and small mean uncomfy you ask – oh no – because of the Avalons fine curves it really is most comfortable. Style, comfort, value and effortless elegance.

Can this be delivered in parts due to small entrance door way?

Unfortunately, the Avalon doesn't break down. However, the legs do come off to aid delivery.

The Avalon has a frame height (without legs) of about 60 cm so we would need a doorway wider than this and access should be fine.

Turning Seat Cushions

The website states cushions should be turned occasionally to prolong life, but how can this be achieved on a Bluebell chaise sofa when the left and right seat cushions are shaped differently?

You are correct that we can't flip the cushions on the Bluebell however an occasional and vigorous plump will replicate the effect of flipping the cushions and keep your sofa looking good for years to come!
