removing arms / moving sofa
hello, can the arms be removed / reattached easily? We are moving and the sofa is to big to remove from our flat (we are not as strong or skilled as your delivery men!) It appears the underside of the sofa is accessible...

The bottom is certainly the place the start! There'll be a panel you can un-velcro and once inside you'll see the bolts holding each arm on. Simply undo these and you'll be able to pull them both away.

Fleetwood three seat sofa bed in Cookie
Continental Europe has embraced the "click-clack" sofabed mechanism for decades, whilst us Brits have been a bit slow on the uptake. The "click-clack" movement takes about two seconds to turn this groovy retro style sofa into an excellent bed. Much easier on the pocket than a traditional sofabed, which is a happy coincidence.

Ive just noticed on the web page it says that you dont upholster the entire sofa w/ the customer's chosen fabric i.e. the back remains plain cream or a dark colour - is this true? Can you show a 3D image of this sofa in a coloured fabric w/ a plain back? Why dont u upholster the entire sofa?

Hello there,
This is indeed true - the back panel is either a plain cream or black calico depending on your chosen fabric. This is for a number of reasons, largely it's due to the fact that the Fleetwood is designed to be a very affordable sofabed and based on feedback from early prototypes, upholstery on the back was seen as an unnecessary expense.
We are currently working on 3D models for all of our sofas but in the meantime, if you pop an email over to contact@sofa.com we'd be happy to send you an image of the one here in the showroom.

Can you do contrasting piping on this sofa?

Very keen on buying a couple of these, probably in an off-white from your broader Romo fabric library (you once found me a gorgeous fabric for my bed from their range), but would like the piping done in a contrasting black or anthracite. Is that possible?
