A well-oiled machine - this space-saving sofa bed ticks all the practical boxes, whilst possessing grace, and a sturdy, simple and top of the range bed mechanism.

does this bed have storage space underneath?

Hi there, thank you very much for your query! The Eva does not have any storage space underneath the seat - the base contains the mattress which unfolds when converting into a bed. The only sofa with a storage option is the Fleetwood with Storage.

Descartes three seat in Cookie

The thinking man’s sofa (Oh please! – someone take that copywriter out and shoot him). In all honesty though you may notice that this sofa is a little dearer than some of our others, and for good reason. Those deep tufted and pleated buttons take very considerable time and skill (if you want it done properly – there are ways of cheating), and there are lots of them. The spring system rocks, the frame comes apart into four for ease of access, solid oak legs…blah, blah, blah. Listen, if you love this spectacularly elegant, modern design you’ll just have to reach a little deeper.

Can you have turned legs like the Avalon on the Descartes as the legs shown are a bit modern for my house?

Thank you very much for your query. Unfortunately the Descartes has a unique leg fixture so we aren't able to provide alternative styles with it - just the leg featured on the sofa on the website. You do have a choice of 3 leg colours, however - Dark Mahogany, English Oak and French White. These can be found on the FAQs page (top right on the home page).

Oscar three seat sofa in Starling

We don't wish to insult, but we thought that the traditional Chesterfield shape was sometimes a little dumpy, clunky, and not always that comfy. Meet Oscar. More gracefully proportioned, a fraction taller, with longer, more elegant legs, and most importantly, very comfy. Evolution, sofa style.

what are the rub counts for your fabrics and can i select and supply my own fabric. if so at what additional cost

Thank you very much for your query! Our fabrics' Martindale scores fall between 18,000 and 40,000, which qualifies them for at least domestic upholstery, or even severe domestic upholstery. The lower scoring fabrics are the Broad Weave Linens and Crushed Florentine Velvets, and those with higher scores are the Recycled Wools, Soft Wools and Highland Tweeds. The scores of the other fabric ranges fall between 25,000 and 30,000.

You can indeed supply your own fabric - the price varies according to size and style, so the extra cost would depend on which item you were purchasing.

Ottoman footstool in Chocolate

Re - The dimensions of the Ottoman footstool

I have a chair in the Chocolate velvet and would love a footstool to match, I would also like one that could double up as a coffee table. Our room is not particularly large and the Ottoman dimensions are just too large. Is it possible for me to have one made slightly smaller? I understand that this would make it a bespoke piece and therefore could not be returned.
I really like the shape of the Ottoman and having looked at the designs of your other stools, there isn't anything that I like as much.
